I Feel Good

I knew that I would.....now that I'm back on Keto.

As I wrote previously, I had screwed up and allowed Carbs back into my life.  I am truly amazed at how quickly the negative effects of carbohydrates impacted me.  They really derailed me.

Not just my weight loss either.  I was feeling tired, foggy, sluggish, and I had sinus congestion.

Yes, that last one surprised me.

I never had much trouble with sinus congestion during most of my life (except when I had a cold).

Then a few years ago I started getting pain and pressure from sinus congestion in the morning.  I wondered whether I was becoming allergic to something, or if it was just another problem associated with getting older.

Once I started Keto in earnest earlier this year, the congestion cleared up completely.  But I didn't really make the connection until I fell off the Keto bandwagon.

When I ate carbs, the congestion came back.

I still wasn't completely convinced of the connection (perhaps it was just the change in seasons), until I went back on Keto and the congestion disappeared again.

I have not seen any scientific studies to back this up.  If you know of any, please send it to me.  I am convinced, at least for me, that chronic sinus congestion is connected to eating too many carbs.
